Sue Wassall, Optometrist – GOC Number: 01-14378

During her 25 years in the profession Sue has worked for both high street chains and independent opticians, and quickly realised she far preferred the independent approach. Having her own business allows Sue to focus on what’s best for each individual customer without any distracting targets or time pressures. She took over the running of her two practices in February 1999 and they’ve been growing ever since.
Sue is married with two grown-up children and two golden retriever dogs. Her involvement in the community includes being a school governor for a local primary school. She enjoys walking in the countryside, watching rugby and spending quality time with family and friends. She has ambitions to try skiing again once she’s recovered from the serious fall she suffered on her last attempt!
Kevin Bone, Dispensing Optician – GOC Number: D5933

Kevin started working for an opticians after leaving school at 17, and he’s been adding to his experience and qualifications ever since. He spent 20 years with one independent optician before joining forces with Sue in 1999. He enjoys getting to know their customers and offering great aftercare.
Kevin is married with a daughter, four golden retriever dogs, several types of tropical fish, tortoises and finally, a handful of Budgies and Cockatiels. In his spare time, he enjoys walking his dogs, fishing and football.
